For the Judiciary

The Maryland Judiciary and University of Baltimore School of Law:
A Historic Partnership

We value the role that Maryland's judges play in preparing our students for legal practice through judicial internships and clerkships.

Through our innovative EXPLOR Program, initiated over a decade ago by our office and Professor Byron Warnken, the Judicial Internship Program, and the success of our graduates in securing coveted judicial clerkships, we are fortunate to enjoy such a longstanding and productive relationship with the Maryland judiciary.

In fact, the School of Law ranks as one of the top law schools for judicial clerkship placements.  Over 20% of the Class of 2011 secured a judicial clerkship, compared with only 9% of law students nationally. We have the loyal support of Maryland's judges to thank for our exemplary placement record.

Please keep us updated on your internship and clerkship availability by completing our Judicial Information Request Form. Please contact Chris Blom at 410.837.4409 should you have any questions.
