Experiential Learning

At the University of Baltimore School of Law, you can gain valuable experience.

It's called  "experiential learning," and what it means is that at several key points during your legal education, you will have opportunities to experience the working life of a lawyer outside of the classroom.

On these pages, you'll find details on how experiential learning works at the UB School of Law so that you can gain the kind of experiences that a lawyer needs throughout his or her career:

  • What working in a courtroom is really like
  • How defense and plaintiff lawyers build cases and effectuate them during trial
  • What clients really expect from their lawyer
  • How to be effective, no matter what kind of law you're practicing
