UBalt Law is the first choice for a second career in the law.
Counseling | Extended Hours | Telephone and Email Counseling | Programming
The University of Baltimore School of Law began as a program exclusively for evening students, and continues to serve that mission with passion and dedication.
Graduates of the evening program have made significant contributions to the legal community as judges, legal practitioners, public officials, philanthropists, community activists, educators, and entrepreneurs throughout the state of Maryland and beyond.
We provide evening students with all the same services, resources, and opportunities enjoyed by day students, including participation in our recruitment programs.
We encourage first-year and second-year evening students to apply for our innovative externship program for first-year students, Experiences in Legal Organizations (EXPLOR) Program, as we always attempt to offer opportunities with evening or weekend hours.
Counseling
We have expertise in counseling the diverse student population that makes our evening program so rich. We can help you develop both short-term and long-term goals, identify networking opportunities, craft your legal resume or cover letter, and prepare for interviews.
You can make an appointment on-line from your UBalt Law Connect home page.
Extended Hours
Throughout the year, our office is open Monday through Thursday until 6 p.m. and until 4:30 p.m. on Friday. We can meet with you after hours upon request. Please contact us to schedule a late appointment.
Telephone and Email Counseling
Your busy schedule may make it difficult for you to visit our office. While in-person counseling is ideal, we are happy to work with you via telephone appointments or through email. Please contact us to schedule a phone appointment.
Programming
Our career education programs and networking events are typically scheduled, whenever possible, during the 5-6 p.m. hour so that evening students can attend the programs.
