At the University of Baltimore School of Law, students learn doctrine, theory and skills through traditional study and through clinical and lawyering courses. Students' education is enriched by work on journals, membership in student organizations and government, and by centers and programs focused on local, national and global issues. The University of Baltimore School of Law offers a series of foreign study opportunities in the areas of International and Comparative Law. The School of Law study abroad programs offerings are the Scotland Summer Program at the University of Aberdeen in Aberdeen, Scotland, the Haifa Summer Institute in Haifa, Israel, as well as the Curacao Winter Program that takes place between fall and spring semesters.
The University of Baltimore School of Law provides three options for pursuing a law degree: a full time day program, a part time evening program, and a part time day program. The School of Law's required course offerings provide a solid foundation in the fundamentals of the law while developing the legal skills to practice law. Upper level courses offer a range of in-depth concentrations that provide students with a sophisticated understanding of a particular area of law. Areas of concentration include Criminal Law, Family Law, Intellectual Property and International and Comparative Law among many others.
