Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! The law school is hard at work to create ways to celebrate this incredible accomplishment!
While current public health conditions unfortunately will not allow for a traditional in-person ceremony, the law school is partnering with Stage Clip to produce two separate virtual commencement videos for the class of 2021 (including December 2020 graduates), and our class of 2020 (including December 2019 graduates). The video will include all the components of a traditional ceremony, with speakers and music, including personalized recognition of each graduate.
Please know that the law school continues to look for opportunities for in-person celebrations, as public health conditions allow.
The link to order your rental regalia is here.
All graduates will be able to order rental regalia (at no cost to you; paid for by the law school), to be sent to your home for use for the virtual ceremony, pictures, and family/friend celebrations.
Please schedule your post-graduation survey and exit meeting with LCDO prior to ordering your regalia through UB Law Connect.
The virtual commencement video will include your name, photos and a personalized video message from you, if you choose to provide one. Through a user-friendly portal, you will be able to upload content and later, after the final commencement video is completed, download your personal clips to save and share on social media, along with the commencement video.
In a few weeks you will begin receiving emails with instructions on how to contribute your content to the virtual commencement video. Meanwhile, if
you have questions about commencement in general, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have questions about the virtual commencement video only, please contact email@example.com.
