CFCC and Unified Family Courts

The Sayra and Neil Meyerhoff Center for Families, Children and the Courts works to create, implement, improve, and evaluate Unified Family Courts.

This court model addresses all the legal issues in family law cases, such as:

• Divorce
• Custody
• Child support
• Domestic violence
• Delinquency
• Abuse and neglect

Unified Family Courts also address the non-legal issues, such as:

• Substance abuse
• Mental health problems
• Education
• Housing
• Parenting skills

CFCC aims to solve real-world problems with lasting solutions through using appropriate legal theory and doctrine.
