Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! The law school is hard at work to create ways to celebrate this incredible accomplishment!
We have exciting news for our 2020 and 2021 graduates of the University of Baltimore School of Law. We will hold an in-person commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 19, at SECU Arena at Towson University. The ceremony will be live streamed for those who cannot or prefer not to attend in person.
We have determined that all law grads who choose to attend can fit in the space with appropriate social distancing. Masks will be required.
We ask that you take our brief survey to let us know if you would like to be included in either component: the in-person ceremony, or the live stream from your own location. If you have no interest in either, please state this in the survey. Only those who complete the survey will have their names read aloud during the ceremony. The link to the two-minute survey is here.
Please understand that there will be a very limited number of guest tickets available (through Ticketmaster). The number will depend on the number of graduates who would like to attend in person. We will contact all of you who choose to be in-person, once the survey results are in, with the number of tickets that will be available for each pod. It will most likely be no more than two per graduate.
This means we will not be doing a virtual ceremony. All graduates will be able to order rental regalia (at no cost to you; paid for by the law school), to be sent to your home. The link to order your rental regalia is here.
We have worked it out with Herff Jones so that all of you who rent regalia will have until June 30 to return it, using the prepaid label you received with the regalia. Please note: You may keep the tam and tassel.
Please schedule your post-graduation survey and exit meeting with LCDO prior to ordering your regalia through UBalt Law Connect.
