Starting in the fall of 2008, the University of Baltimore School of Law will offer a post-J.D. program that will lead to a Certificate in Estate Planning. The certificate program is geared towards satisfying the specialized, advanced education needs of individuals wanting to practice in the area of estate planning. It will be coordinated and administered by the director and staff of the University of Baltimore's Graduate Tax Program.
Under this program, a student will complete 12 credits of coursework in order to receive a Certificate in Estate Planning. Students may complete the Certificate in Estate Planning as a stand-alone program or in conjunction with the University of Baltimore LL.M. in Taxation program.
