Regional Tuition for select out of state students
If you are not a Maryland resident but live in one of the following out-of-state areas, you may be eligible for in-state tuition and fees:
- Washington, D.C.
- Northern Virginia: Arlington, Clarke, Culpeper, Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, Prince William, Rappahannock, Spotsylvania, Stafford and Warren counties and Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Fredericksburg, Manassas and Manassas Park
- Pennsylvania: Adams, Chester, Lancaster and York counties
- Delaware: all counties.
The new regional rate saves full-time students $15,108 per year and saves part-time students $9,360 per year. Students may also be eligible to receive a scholarship based on their academic credentials.

Tuition rates and savings are based on 2019-2020 tuition rates.
To be eligible, students must complete the regional residency portion of the application for admissions. Students must have resided in one of the areas for at least one year prior to the start of classes. Factors considered include
Income taxes paid in DC, VA, PA, DE, or VA.
Driver's License in DC, VA, PA, DE, or VA.
Vehicle registration in DC, VA, PA, DE, or VA.
Voter Registration in DC, VA, PA, DE, or VA.
