Korzec joined the law faculty in 1975 after three years of practice with Venable, Baetjer & Howard in Baltimore. She has authored articles on products liability, family law and feminist jurisprudence. Korzec has served as a Hoffberger Center Associate and an International Law Center Associate. She has devoted substantial efforts in her teaching, scholarship and service to the issues of discrimination and inequality. Korzec serves on the Maryland State Bar Select Committee on Gender and has chaired the Bar Association of Baltimore City Gender Issues Committee. In addition, she has written and lectured on such diverse issues as commercial law, products liability, family law, work/family balance, the gendered nature of tort law and employment discrimination.
Korzec has taught in many areas including, contracts, commercial law, comparative civil liberties, legal writing, products liability and property. She has also taught abroad, including in the law school's Aberdeen Program. In May 2008, Korzec served as conference co-chair and panel moderator for the School of Law's Holocaust Denial Conference. She also served on the planning committee and as a panel moderator for the Feminisms Conference held at the law school in March 2008. During the summer of 2007, Korzec was a Silbermann Fellow at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. At the law school, her work has been recognized in awards from the Women's Bar Association, the Black Law Students Association, and the Saul Ewing award for excellence in teaching transactional law. Korzec is a member of the Maryland Bar.
