CREATING FAMILY JUSTICE SYSTEM REFORM
IMPROVING FAMILY COURTS
CONNECTING COURTS TO COMMUNITIES
The Center for Families, Children and the Courts (CFCC) is a national leader in the movement to reform the family justice system. CFCC works to integrate communities, families and the justice system to improve the lives of families and the health of communities.
CFCC approaches court reform from two key perspectives:
- Therapeutic jurisprudence - the belief that families and children deserve an effective and efficient court system that aims to improve their lives.
- The ecology of human development - a social science framework that requires a holistic look at the many systems affecting the lives of families and children.
