Student Opportunities

Student Fellows Program

The CFCC Student Fellows Program I and Program II provide law students with a unique opportunity to experience the cutting edge of family justice system reform.

Student Fellows engage in CFCC projects that:

  • Develop and implement family justice programs.
  • Assess the performance of family justice systems.
  • Design innovative approaches to family law and family justice system reform issues.
  • Develop contacts for future employment.

Student Research Assistants

Because CFCC is involved in numerous projects, law students can work as student research assistants, depending upon available funding.  To inquire about availability, please contact CFCC's Director, Professor Barbara A. Babb.

Truancy Court Program Volunteers

Law students interested in working in community/court partnerships are encouraged to participate in CFCC's Truancy Court Program Volunteer Initiative, which also is open to all members of the University of Baltimore community.
