Those selected as finalists, will be interviewed by faculty and staff in November. Scholars are notified of their acceptance later that month.
If you are selected as one of the Angelos Scholars, you will attend a “Bootcamp” at the University of Baltimore School of Law in January 2022. You will be required to join us in Baltimore for several days during the first two weeks of January.
You will meet University of Baltimore School of Law faculty and students who will work with you throughout your LSAT preparation and law school application process. You will visit law firms and meet attorneys who can help you better understand your law career options. You will also participate in relationship and team building experiences.
When Bootcamp is over, the next step begins. You will then participate in our rigorous LSAT preparation program from the end of January through the LSAT exam date in mid-June.
Students who do well on the LSAT will be eligible for scholarship money for law school. Those who successfully complete the Program, have a 3.5 cumulative undergraduate GPA, and score 153 or above on the LSAT, will qualify for a full tuition scholarship to attend the University of Baltimore School of Law. Of course, all scholarship money depends, as well, on your being admitted to and then choosing to attend the University of Baltimore School of Law.
