Students from a dozen law schools from throughout the mid Atlantic region will be on the campus of the University of Baltimore School of Law Nov. 4-5 for the American Bar Association's Law Student Division Regional Negotiation Competition.
The University of Baltimore School of Law will host its semi-annual open house on Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 3 to 7 p.m. The event is designed to showcase the school's offerings and educate potential students about the range of career options in the legal field.
"From the Bar to the Bench," a panel discussion designed to encourage women to consider judicial careers and to make the process of appointment and election to the bench more visible and accessible, will be held in the School of Law on Sept. 19 at 5 p.m.
The University of Baltimore School of Law’s Center for Families, Children and the Courts (CFCC) will co-sponsor with the American Bar Association a major national conference on unified family courts, to be held in Baltimore on May 3 and 4, 2007.
