The University of Baltimore School of Law Moot Court Board administers the Byron L. Warnken Annual Consolidated Moot Court Competition at the University of Baltimore and facilitates advocacy and research skills training for members of the nineteen interscholastic Moot Court teams.

The Board is comprised of students selected on the basis of their grades, expertise in written and oral advocacy, and demonstrated interest in the programs served by the Board, and operates under the supervision of its student-led Executive Board and its faculty advisor. The Board is divided between 9 students on the Executive Board and 15 students members at large. Members at large assist the Executive Board and serve as Student Liaisons to one or more moot court teams. One credit is awarded per semester for 60 hours of substantive legal work.
The Board also assists with managing the National Moot Court Competition, of which the University of Baltimore is a regional sponsor.
Membership on the Moot Court Board is limited to students with moot court experience who show a strong interest in the moot court programs at the University of Baltimore. The top qualifiers from the Byron L. Warnken Annual Moot Court Competition will be invited to apply to join the Moot Court Board at the time they are notified of their placement on a moot court team. Those wishing to join must submit their completed application to the current Moot Court Board.
Moot Court Board members serve for a minimum of one academic year but may serve for two years. Those serving on the Moot Court Board can earn one academic credit per semester up to two credits per academic year.
