Project Hunger

Project Hunger is a public interest group created to help the homeless in the Baltimore area. They work in conjunction with the Mayor's Winter Relief Plan and the Maryland Food Bank. The organization increases law students' awareness about the problem of homelessness through its fund raisers, clothing drives and an annual volleyball tournament held at the University of Baltimore Law Center. Project Hunger also feeds many homeless by distributing food left over from the Orioles' games to area shelters and also aids the homeless in job searches by holding resume dinners at the law school in conjunction with other student organizations such as the Women's Bar Association.
