Law Library | Career Planning Services

Classes meet in the Angelos Law Center or Thumel Business Center Monday through Thursday evenings. Students have access to the research, study, and computing facilities of both the Law and Langsdale libraries. Career planning services are provided for LL.M. and M.S. students.
The Law Library is located on the third and fourth floors of the Angelos Law Center. It serves students and faculty of the Graduate Tax Program, School of Law, the University community, alumni, and members of the Bar.

The Law Library contains an extensive tax collection. Devoted primarily to Anglo-American law, the Law Library's general collection includes published reports of federal and state courts, statutes, administrative materials, and a Commonwealth collection, and is a selective depository for U.S. government documents. It also contains treatises, legal encyclopedias, digests, citators, form books, loose-leaf services, and law reviews.
The computer-assisted legal research systems, LEXIS and WESTLAW, are available, as is training in their use. The microform room contains microfilm and microfiche and appropriate reader-printers, as well as audiotape and video-cassette players.
The Law Library is open from 8 a.m. to midnight, weekdays, and 9 a.m. to midnight, weekends.
Postgraduate employment is of vital concern to all students. The School of Law Career Development Center (for LL.M. students) and the University's Career Center (for MS students) function year-round and offer individual career counseling, mock interview sessions, resume/cover letter preparation training, and job search counseling. They each maintain detailed job listings available only to students and alumni. For MS students, numerous private accounting firms and public sector companies, including the most prestigious, interview applicants on campus each year.
