Attorney Practice Internship | Judicial Internship | S.E.C. Internship Program
At the University of Baltimore School of Law, we offer a range of experiential learning opportunities. Our internship programs are an essential component. Getting hands on experience, strengthening legal skills, building professional connections in the legal community, and giving back through public service are just a few benefits. Law students have the opportunity to intern in a variety of legal settings including courtrooms, private firms, legal services organizations, non-profits, and government agencies.

“ I have found this experience to be invaluable to my education. This internship is exactly what I needed to refocus after a very long and trying 1st year. I stated several goals before this internship—one of those goals was to learn the MD court system and become comfortable navigating it. I certainly achieved this goal.”
Students interning for credit participate in a classroom component designed to augment their work in the field. The seminars explore topics including ethics, professionalism, learning styles, the role of attorneys in society and reflective learning. Students are also provided with faculty supervision and feedback.
