Driving Directions:

From the North

(Northern Baltimore County/York, PA)
Take I-83 (Harrisburg Expressway) to I-695 toward Pikesville. Follow signs to I-83 South (Jones Falls Expressway). From I-83 take Exit 5, Maryland Avenue. At the traffic light at the end of the ramp, turn left onto Maryland Avenue. Travel 4 blocks to the Maryland Avenue garage which will be on the right.

From the West

(Frederick, MD and beyond)
Take I-70 to I-695 toward Towson. Follow I-695 to Exit 23, I-83 (Baltimore). From I-83 take Exit 5, Maryland Avenue. At the traffic light at the end of the ramp, turn left onto Maryland Avenue. Travel 4 blocks to the Maryland Avenue garage which will be on the right.

From the South

(Anne Arundel County and Southern Maryland)
Take Rt. 3 to I-695 toward Towson. Follow I-695 to Exit 7, Rt. 295 (Baltimore). Rt. 295 will become Russell Street. Make a right onto Pratt Street and then a left onto Charles. Travel north on Charles Street to Preston Street. Turn left on Preston. Turn left on Maryland Avenue. Travel 2 blocks to the Maryland Avenue garage which will be on the right.

From the Southwest

(Howard, Montgomery and Prince Georges' counties/D.C.)
Take I-95 North to Exit 53, Downtown Baltimore (I-395). At the light at Pratt Street, turn right. Proceed two blocks and turn left onto Charles Street. Travel north on Charles Street to Preston Street. Turn left on Preston. Turn left on Maryland Avenue. Travel 2 blocks to the Maryland Avenue garage which will be on the right.

From the Southeast

(Eastern Shore)
Take Rt. 50 to Rt. 97 toward Baltimore. Rt. 97 will become Rt. 3/Rt. 97. Follow Rt. 3 to I-695 toward Towson. From I-695 take Exit 7, Rt. 295 (Baltimore). Rt. 295 will become Russell Street. Make a right onto Pratt Street and a left onto Charles. Travel north on Charles Street to Preston Street. Turn left on Preston. Turn left on Maryland Avenue. Travel 2 blocks to the Maryland Avenue garage which will be on the right.

Mass Transit options:

Light Rail
The light rail runs north-south between Hunt Valley and Glen Burnie. The University of Baltimore/Mount Royal Station is right at UB's Bolton Yard parking lot - just a minute's walk from campus. A free shuttle service is available.

Bus
The University is located on major metropolitan bus routes.

Subway
The Baltimore Metro runs from Owings Mills to Johns Hopkins Hospital. The Maryland State Office Building Metro Station is four blocks from the UB campus.

Train
The University is one block south of Pennsylvania Station (Amtrak and MARC) on Charles Street.

Parking for Prospective Students & Other Visitors

Visitors for admissions events will be provided parking information in a confirmation email. Please visit the admissions events page to RSVP.

Visitors with appointments for tours, interviews or class visits should park in the Maryland Avenue Garage. Pull a ticket upon entering the garage and park in one of the dedicated Offices of Admission parking spaces on the first level. These spaces are available Monday to Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. All other visitors should visit the University of Baltimore visitor parking information page.
