Kimberly N. Brown formerly taught at The George Washington University Law School and the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Her areas of interest include civil procedure, federal courts, and administrative law.
After law school, where she was an editor of the Michigan Law Review, Professor Brown clerked for the Honorable Charles R. Richey of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Professor Brown subsequently worked for the Federal Trade Commission and served as both an associate independent counsel on the Whitewater investigation and as an assistant U.S. attorney in the civil division of the Office of the U.S. Attorney. She then practiced in the litigation group of Caplin & Drysdale, Chartered, in Washington, D.C.
