The Health Law Association is a student-led organization who seeks to: raise awareness of health-related legal issues; generate student interest in health care law; facilitate ongoing dialogue regarding health law and related health issues; to provide educational and professional resources for law students interested in health law; and to grow into a dynamic organization connecting students and professionals in the area of health law.

The Association serves as a health care law resource for students by continuously developing a dynamic bank of career & internship opportunities, and by compiling a course guide for students who wish to pursue health law at University of Baltimore. They engage in dialogue with the university to promote the development of a health law curriculum. Throughout the semester, they host various lectures, career panels, and community events. Finally, they publish a student-written electronic newsletter with articles pertaining to emerging issues in health care law.
