Contracts II

Professor Cohen is visiting the University of Baltimore for the Spring 2009 semester and will be teaching two sections of Contracts. She has been in teaching for over 15 years and is currently the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and an Associate Professor of Law at Southern New England School of Law. She was a tenured Associate Professor at West Virginia University College of Law (1995-2003) and has visited at Emory University School of Law (1993-1995), University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law (Fall 2000), and Roger Williams University School of Law (2001-2003). In 2007, she also taught a short course on International Business Transactions at the Universidad de Montevideo.

Before entering legal academia, she was a general practice associate at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York, where she focused on mergers and acquisitions, and associate counsel for a children’s publisher.

In addition to Contracts, she has taught Business Organizations, Civil Procedure, Consumer Protection, Interviewing and Counseling, Legal Drafting, and Payment Systems. She currently serves as a member of the Computer Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI) Editorial Board. She was a CALI Business Law Fellow and participates in the CALI Podcasting project.
