November 6 - Family Law Center Names Senior Fellow
Sharon Rubinstein, a lawyer and former journalist with a strong background in public interest advocacy, particularly for children, has been named a senior fellow for the University of Baltimore School of Law's Center for Families, Children and the Courts.

November 4 - Acclaimed Author Taylor Branch Discusses New Clinton Book at School of Law, Nov. 23
Pulitzer Prize-winning author Taylor Branch, the Baltimore-based writer responsible for the masterpiece of civil rights narrative history known as the "America in the King Era Trilogy," will visit the University of Baltimore School of Law on Nov. 23 to discuss his latest work, The Clinton Tapes: Wrestling History with the President.

November 3 - First Annual Stephen L. Snyder Litigation Lecture: NAACP's Angela Ciccolo, Nov. 12
The Stephen L. Snyder Center for Litigation Skills and the Black Law Student Association will present the first annual Stephen L. Snyder Litigation Lecture on Nov. 12 at noon. Angela Ciccolo, current interim general counsel for and secretary to the NAACP, will be the featured speaker.

An unprecedented gathering of amateur sports experts will take place on Oct. 29 at the University of Baltimore School of Law, when the school's Center for Sport and the Law hosts its inaugural amateur sports symposium, "From Doping to Diversity: Legal Issues in the American Olympic Movement."
