Ford joined the Innocence Project Clinic as a Staff Attorney in September 2017. Previously, she served as an Assistant Public Defender in the Post Conviction Defenders Division at the Maryland Office of the Public Defender for three years. There, Ford represented incarcerated clients across the State of Maryland in a variety of post-conviction matters. 

Ford graduated from the Pennsylvania State University and went on to work as an investigator at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. Thereafter, she earned her J.D. from the University of the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law, where she was a Dean's Fellow and co-founded the Innocence Project Student Association. Ford is barred in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
