Families Matter: Recommendations to Improve Outcomes for Children and Families in Court (2014) identifies more than a dozen measures which, if undertaken, would help develop a family justice system with an interdisciplinary, holistic and therapeutic focus. The report also advocates a major shift in the approach of all parties to family law cases.
