Cheryl Jones came to the School of Law with years of experience as a paralegal, so she had a good idea of what she was getting herself into in law school. A wife and mother, Cheryl found time to serve as a member of the University of Baltimore Law Review and as a teaching and research assistant during her time at the School of Law. She was one of two members of the Class of 2012 to receive a Law Faculty Award at commencement.
I wanted a school with a reputation of giving students a practical, hands-on approach to the practice of law. University of Baltimore's clinics, internships and judicial EXPLOR program fit that bill.
University of Baltimore Law is unique in that it has strong ties to the local region but sits just a short ride from the nation's vibrant, bustling Capitol. It offers caring faculty, a diverse student body and practical experiences that make law school an exercise in applying the law, not just learning it.
