Attend an Information Session on your campus
If you are selected as one of the 8 Scholars, you attend a 2-week residential Bootcamp at UB School of Law in January. You take the LSAT Award Prep course during spring semester and earn 3 academic credits for successfully completing the Program.
You qualify for a full tuition scholarship to attend the UB School of Law if you:
- Successfully complete the Scholars Program
- Have a 3.5 cumulative undergraduate GPA
- Score 152 or above on the LSAT
- Are admitted to the UB School of Law
The Application Deadline for the Fannie Angelos Scholars Program is October 15.
Meet the Scholars
You get exposure to LSAT preparation, the law student experience and the work of practicing attorneys. All program fees and expenses are covered by the Fannie Angelos Program.
- You complete a writing assignment that culminates in an article worthy of publication.
- You meet your UB School of Law faculty adviser and student mentor who work with you through LSAT preparation and the law school admission process.
- You participate in relationship and team building experiences.
- You visit law firms and meet attorneys who help you better understand law career options.
- When you return to your home campus you earn 3 academic credits for the 16-week LSAT Award class offered during spring semester and for meeting all other program requirements.
Application requirements: Review the application instructions and complete the online application by Oct. 15.
If we select you as a finalist, you come to the law school in November for an interview. Scholars are notified of their acceptance in November.
Scholars will take the June LSAT exam. The Program pays Scholar's LSAC and LSAT fees.
