Law School Hosts Environmental Symposium on Chesapeake Bay Nov. 16

Recognizing that many of the environmental issues of the Chesapeake Bay are tied to the legal system, the UB School of Law will host a major symposium, "The Bay in Crisis: Saving the Chesapeake," on Nov. 16. This free event will feature panel discussions by government officials, as well as policy specialists, private citizens, opinion leaders and the public.

New Full-Time Law School Class Shows Highest LSATs, Grades in 15 Years

The incoming full-time first-year class of the School of Law represents its highest level of collegiate grade point average and law school aptitude test results in 15 years, according to newly announced statistics. Nearly a third of the 212 full-time day program students in this new class qualify for merit-based scholarships.
