Judge Andre Davis of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit will visit the University of Baltimore School of Law on Feb. 26, in a discussion about the importance and effectiveness of outstanding oral advocacy in trial and appellate settings.
The Maryland chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council has given two awards to the University of Baltimore's new John and Frances Angelos Law Center, soon to be home to the UB School of Law. The awards - the USGBC 2012 Wintergreen Award for Innovation in Sustainable Design and the USGBC President's Award - were announced during the chapter's annual Wintergreen Awards.
An online version of the University of Baltimore Law Review has been launched by the UB School of Law. This student-run website offers an outlet for the timely publication of editorials, commentary and legal scholarship for the Law Review staff and the local legal community.
